Sambar is prepared differently from region to region. This Aadhirai blend is suited to all the various Sambar preparations.
Soak 100 gms. dal for 30 minutes. Boil dal with brinjal, drumstick, pumpkin, and onions. Add 2 tbsp of tamarind juice, chilli powder, and salt. Add 1 heaped tbsp of Aadhirai Sambar Powder. Bring it to a simmer. Remove from fire. Serve.
